Peggy:
I have read 7 novels in the past month, and the 3 books I enjoyed the most are:
1. The gentleman mentor – Kendall Ryan
2. One night with a billionaire – Jessica Clare
3. Before he was gone – Becky Wicks
The one I can recommend to all Aurian’s readers is:
Kendall Ryan – The gentleman mentor
What's the fastest way for a sweet bookworm to learn the art of seduction? Brielle is betting that six lessons with the Gentleman Mentor, a gorgeous Dom who advertises his erotic services online, will do the trick.
She's a client. That's all.
Or it should be.
But with every lesson, she's becoming more.
The secrets I'm hiding behind the image of the Gentleman Mentor make telling her the truth--and having anything real--impossible.
I'm training her for another man, and that fact guts me every time I think of it.
I know she's not mine ... but part of me won't accept that.
Am I willing to risk it all to keep her?
He calls himself the Gentleman Mentor.
Just reading his ad makes me feel more alive than I have in years.
He promises to teach me the art of seduction ... and show me the most sinfully erotic pleasures. He's going to help me become the kind of confident, sexy woman men can't ignore.
Six lessons ... with the most gorgeous man ... who happens to be a Dom.
The only problem ... now that I've experienced his brand of delectable domination will anyone else ever compare?
I don’t know if it’s the summer or the weather but just like Freya I’m in the mood for some hot……. romance.
‘The gentleman mentor’ is the first book in the series ‘Lessons with the Dom’. Brie has been in love with her best male friend, Kirby for a few years now. But he just see her as a good friend, nothing more. But now after trying many bad first dates with other men, she has had enough. She wants Kirby to notice her as a woman and she has a plan for how to do that. Recently she has seen an ad from ‘The Gentleman mentor’ who promises to teach a woman the art of seduction and that is just what she needs. Someone to teach her how to seduce Kirby into loving her, not as a friend but as a woman.
After a few interesting mails they meet in a jazz club. Both are surprised with the other, Brie didn’t expected a handsome man standing before her and Dom (or Hale) didn’t expect to meet a beautiful woman at the bar. What would a beautiful woman want from him?
After an interesting conversation, Brie decides to go for it, six lessons isn’t that much, is it? So why not give it a chance. What has she got to lose?
Hale doesn’t know if taking this new ‘client’ was such a good idea, because from the first moment he meets her, there’s an attraction between them and the last thing he wants is a woman who wants more than the lessons he can give her.
Because the one time he gave his heart to a woman, it only ended in pain. He will not do it again. No matter how great the attraction is!
Brie never expected to find so much pleasure during her lessons with Hale or find him so interesting. With each lesson she falls more and more for her mentor. The more she learns about the art of seduction, the more she wonders if it’s possible to seduce her mentor into a lifetime of lessons with her? Will Hall let go of the past, to have a future with her? Or will he leave her after the six lessons?
If you’re looking for a book with BDSM in it then this book isn’t for you. Although there is a BDSM club in this book, the sex scenes are just erotic (without really much BDSM). I really enjoyed the fact that from the beginning you can feel the attraction between Brie and Hale. That the story isn’t just about the sex, but also about emotions between two persons. The book was much more then I had hope for. I’m very looking forward to the next book in this series that will be about Hale’s sister and his best friend.
Aurian: Thanks for the recommendation Peggy! I sure love that cover! Has anyone read these books? If so, did you like them?

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI'm very happy to read that you enjoyed the book too!
VerwijderenYea, if I read BDSM, it usually is light on it. So, I'm glad this one doesn't really have it.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI found it really light. No pain or ropes, only pleasure :)
VerwijderenI love the covers too ;)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI haven't read any of them, but The Gentleman mentor sounds good! I'll have a look out.
