I loved this book. I have been meeting Lisa Marie Rice in Berlin for 3 years now out of 4, and this is the first full length novel I have read. I am very sorry I haven’t tried her books before, but I thought they would be too hot for me. They are not. Sure, there are lot of hot sex scenes, but it is the romance itself that is so very captivating, those two lonely souls finding each other and bringing out the best in the other. For her, he will remake his life and start over again, for her, he will risk everything he is and has. For him, she will give up her freedom just to be with him.

I read a short sequel to this book a few months ago, and loved it, and after reading this book, it is even better.

This is one of the best romantic suspense books I have ever read, the perfect mix of romance and suspense and danger. With an alpha male hero, and the woman who changes him. Most books are more unbalanced, with focusing more on suspense or more on romance, or with lots of sex but not really romance.

I loved it to pieces, and will read some more of Lisa Marie Rice’s books soon.
