With three broken engagements under her oh so fashionable belt, it's high time London party girl Chloe Flynt gets a job. Unfortunately, Chloe isn't exactly qualified for anything, except dumping a Mr Wrong or two (or three!) with a little dignity. Realising she needs a new beginning, she lands in Austin, Texas, and opens a company helping other people do the dirty work of breaking up...
Too bad Chloe's tall, tough-talking, and take-charge landlord, Matthew Tanner, isn't interested in her expertise. Because anyone can see that his girlfriend is clearly all wrong for him. Not that Chloe cares. She and Matthew have nothing in common - other than that mind-blowing attraction, that is. But when his girlfriend requests Chloe's services, all hell breaks loose. If there's one thing Chloe knows for sure, it's that just because she's good at breaking up bad relationships doesn't mean she has a talent for putting together good ones. Maybe it's finally time she gives it a try...

I had so much fun reading this book! I liked Chloe from the first page. You might expect a spoiled little rich girl, and perhaps she is that a little, but she is also a very lovable heroine. Her father refuses to pay for another hobby or course or study, and so she sets out to start her own company. But not in England, where everyone knows her. For some reason, she picks Austin, Texas, and to her own surprise, she thrives.
Of course it is meddling with other people's love lives, but it is the good kind of meddling, and done with a lot of humor. A few couples feature in this book, like the stranger she offers a job as her secretary, a psychiatrist and of course her sexy neighbour …
Chloe will have to decide if she goes for a real relationship this time, or if she will end it before it has even begun, again.

Shocking, I know, I have not yet read the other books in this series, but I certainly intend to. I loved Chloe, and how much of a realistic outlook on live and people she has, and of course the "strange" English words and sayings she sometimes uses add to the atmosphere. Heartily recommended if you like your contemporary romance with a lot of laughing!

9 stars.
