New books to look forward to for December 2014

This is the list of new releases for the month of December 2014 I am looking forward to, it is not as long as the previous months:

Duffy Brown – Geared for the Grave – Cycle Path Mystery 01
Elizabeth Lowell – Love Song
Gini Koch – Universal Alien – Katherine Kitty Katt 10
Laura Childs – Scorched Eggs – Cackleberry Club 6 HC
Sabrina Jeffries – Silver Deceptions
Bella Andre – All for you = Anthology met Lori Foster, Susan Mallery and Gena Showalter
Laurell K. Hamilton – Jason – Anita Blake 23 PB
Nalini Singh – Shield of Winter – Psy Changelings 13
Sierra Dean – A secret to die for – Secret McQueen 8

I have read a total of 23 books this month! I am very happy with that, it means I have my reading mojo back! Now I need to get my review writing mojo back, and I hope it comes soon as I need to write lots and lots of reviews.

Did I match my reading solutions for last month? I sure re-read a lot of books! But I failed again on free books / review books.

I have read 3 cozy mysteries:
- Ellery Adams – Burn for me
- Laura Childs – Gilt Trip
- Victoria Hamilton – No mallets intended

13 books longer than 1 year on my shelf, but only 2 new ones:
- Yasmine Galenorn – A harvest of bones
- Yasmine Galenorn – One Hex of a Wedding
- Rachel Caine – Ghost Town
- Gail Carriger – Parasol Protectorate books 1 to 4
- Anne McCaffrey – The Tower and the Hive series, 5 books
- Eileen Wilks – Tempting Danger

0 books I have won / been gifted / given for review.

and for my Kindle freebie/Nora Roberts challenge:
- Nora Roberts – The last honest woman
- Nora Roberts – Risky Business.

Tomorrow, or today when you read this, December 1st, is my first day at my new job, and I am getting nervous. I hope I will like it there. And I hope I won’t be too tired to read in the evenings. After all, I have to work 40 hours now, with only half an hour for lunch instead of an hour. Still, I do look forward to starting there.

  1. You totally killed it in November, Aurian! December is going to be a pretty quiet month for me new release wise. The last book in Keri Arthur's Dark Angels series is a must-read, as is the final Secret McQueen book. Good luck on your first day at your new job! :)

  2. At least you have lunch ;) I eat with the kids

    1. Well, half an hour is way too short to get any reading done and prepare and eat lunch.

  3. Great reading! Good luck on your job! Hope you enjoy yourself.

    1. Thanks Kimba, yes the nerves are gone, but there is so much still to learn.

  5. Yay for a good reading month! I've got Jason on mine. I'm so nervous about starting that one. I really hope it's good!

    1. If I read your post on Facebook, it is just one enormous sex scene, or did it improve?
